Auther : Kheir S. Diabat

This study examines, theory, the phenomenon of "Lone Wolves" as one of the important aspects of international terrorism. In this study, the researcher used behavioral approach and system analysis methodology based on the David Easton's model of the international format to demonstrate this hypothesis. the study concludes that this phenomenon has become a real danger on the international stage with threat to its security as well as the imposition of political, security and economic pressures on it, which could have an impact on its political and economic values and lead to internal social split within the state, and other extrnal antagonism among the different communities which could enhance the idea of the "Clash of Civilizations" in the world. Finally, the study presented the main obstacles and opportunities that could be observed in combating this dangerous phenomenon.
