This paper attempts to examine the political literature of  four main Islamic political parties: Islam Liberation Party (Hizb AL-Tahrir AL-Islami), the muslim Brethen (al-Ikhwan al-Muslimin), the Jihad Organization (tandhim al-Jihad)and finally the Call Party (Hizb al-Dawa). The first three parties are Sunni, whilst the fourth is shiite. The common denominator between the four parties is that they have written programs available to whoever is interrested to ahed light on them. These programs and many other issues, such as the concept of the Islamic state, are dealth with in this paper.
