The relation ship between some environmental factors ( sociological , culture, economical and physical) and the prevalence of infectious diseases ( a case study in a Egyptian village)

This research attempts to identify the predisposing factors that discriminate between  non infected and infected groups by infective disease tuberculosis , indectivehepatities , menegities and typhoid para typhoid . the research employed the following discriminating variables : occupation , annual income, educational status , exposure to information resource, acquisitiveness of public health related knowledge , residential status and environmental pollution intensity . the research s based on random sample of 100 individuals selected from Kafer Tanbeedi village sheebeen El-Kom center , Monoufia governorate . as for tuberculosis , the discrimination analysis between non infected and infected groups revealed a value of 0.87 , indicated that the discriminating variables used in this analysis . as for infective hepatitis , the discrimination analysis between non- infected and infected groups revealed a value of 0.85 , indicating that the discriminating differences between the non infected and infected groups were due to the discriminating variables being used in this analysis. As for meningitis , the discrimination analysis between non infected and infected groups revealed a value of 0.847 . As for typhoid and para  typhoid , the discrimination analysis between non infected and non infected groups revealed a value of 0.75.
