Recreation in the Life of Youth Study the Condition of the Third Secondary School Level Students in Riyadh

This study aims at obtaining a clear and complete picture of the nature of recreational development practiced by the youth in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It also seeks to identify the amount of leisure time time free of work, the types and availability of recreation offered which Saudi youth enjoy. This study is mainly confined to male students of secondary schools in - Riyadh - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the year (1422 H - 2002). The number of random samples was (1082) students. The study has come to the following conclusions:1 - There is no quantitative development in leisure time for Saudi youth.2 - There is a qualitive and qantitive development recreational facilities available to youth in the kingdom.3 - There is a qualitative growth in recreational activities for youth in the kingdom as a result of advancement in available recreation modes.
