Planning & Development of Human Resources: A Model for University Accounting Graduates

Auther : Abdel Basit Radwan

The technique for development planning is no longer an ideological or a political issue. Indeed, it has always been taken for granted that education in its own right is a vital prerequisite for development. This can be recognized in the recommendations offered by the experts in the Arab World since the 1960s which have stressed the importance of linking up planning with development projects and programs on one hand and the education and training of individuals on the other.

The research attempts to display the significance of human investment and planning for education especially in producing human resources that can become professional and thereby contribute effectively to the development plans.

Moreover, the research seeks to unfold the role assumed by universities in qualifying the workforce required to meet the needs of the national economy. Hence, educational planning should not be based on imitation. Rather, it should take factual findings as a starting point for planning the educational programs in applied departments at universities.
