Collecting and Studying of Hadiths of Contradictory Exoteric Meanings Concerning Measurement and Counting

This research collected hadiths in which al-Kayl and al-Ihsaa’ (Measurement and Counting) in foods are included since some of them urging measurement and counting and accompanying them with blessing while urging leaving them is understood from other hadiths. These hadiths have contradictory exoteric meanings. Hence, this research took care of reconciling these hadiths through analyzing it and criticizing some concepts to reconcile it. The purpose of this research was to confirm that the Islamic Sharia settled the mundane matters without ignoring moral matters and treated strict stinginess with some people concerning financial matters according to the prophetic approach. The most important results of the research include that al-Kayl and al-Ihsaa’ are admissible particularly in sale and purchase, hence, blessing is accompanied therewith and they shall be admissible in case of enhancing living management and undesirable for testing, miserliness or affectation, also when giving charity. The research contains an introduction, statement of the lexical and contextual meaning of al-Kayl and al-Ihsaa’, mentioning of hadiths in which blessing is accompanied to al-Kayl in and enjoining it in a theme while hadiths of forsaking al-Kayl and al-Ihsaa’ are mentioned in another theme, then, reconciling contradictory exoteric meanings.
