Summary:
Madrasa Slimaniahas taken the top of pyramid of the educational system of the Ottoman Empire in the 10th century AH (900-1000 AH/ 1494-1591 AD) asspecialized higher education institutions combine legitimate studies as well as natural and medical sciences.
This study aims to show the educational characteristics of these schools that were emerged in Mecca, Constantinople, Damascus and Cairo through discussing the characteristics of its most prominent teachers and their scientific and functional effects as well as the most prominent legitimate sciences that appeared, its applied curriculum, administrative and financial aspects.
