Abstract:
A study for one of the methods used by the Critics of the prophetic hadith, to identify the veracity or weakness of the hadith, via their deep experience in the properties of the true prophetic hadith. This indicates their deep interest in criticizing the text. The study concluded with the following important outcomes:
1- Verify the veracity of the meaning, is a basic standard in the veracity of hadith for the criticizing scholars.
2- The phrase: “Doesn’t conform to the prophetic words” is one of the famous phrases for the Critics. This indicate their interest in criticizing the text, coincide with their interest in the veracity of the text.
3- One of the famous phrases for the Critics “similar to the words of a story and don’t similar to the words of the prophet” this phrase refers to the narration being long, strange and exaggerated. Distract the mind and revert the facts. This indicate that the Critics are familiar with the methods of pretending or careless narrators.
