Tabari application for the principle of "non- particularization of commons, but under a pretext" in his interpretation And the suitability of this to the spirit of the Qur'an and the continuity of its Scientific miracles (Ijaz ) Researcher: Mohammed Saleh Qutb Master student - Faculty of Theology - International Islamic University - Malaysia Abstract: In this era of tremendous scientific progress in which we live, we discovered many examples of scientific miracles of the Qur'an and its precedence in stating scientific facts were discovered recently. It is wonderful that the Holy Quran scattered these scientific references in the folds of the of the Quranic discourse, such as the Oneness of the Creator and His actions, and an invitation to the creature to contemplate the universe, the paradise, the hell, the promise and the intimidation, the guidance and misguidance, and so on. After the survey, the researcher found that the verses of the scientific miracles may be included under three sections: • What is stated in clear terms, but its dimensions haven't been discovered yet. • What it is stated in unclear terms, and is called the concise of the Quran. • What is stated as an example and metaphor. After that I have given an example on each section. When considering some of the Qur'an rhetorical characteristics – which help to extract and understand what in the verses of the scientific miracles – the researcher found a common denominator between those characteristics and an important rule in the principles of jurisprudence applied by Imam al-Tabari in his interpretation in many general and concise verses of the Holy Qur'an: non- particularization of commons, but under a pretext. This rule must be recognized. We mentioned some of the models of that rule, where Tabari combines between the statements of the predecessor and consider Quranic word have all these meanings . The common denominator between those characteristics, and this rule is to expand the possible meanings of the verses of the Holy Book, within certain conditions and controls, which keeps the field open to the interpretation of the Holy Qur'an and the miracles which it may show in subsequent ages. The research monitors some examples of modern scientific miracles, with an explanation of how to employ that rule on them. The good use of this rule leads to a legitimate discreet understanding, blends tradition and modernity, and benefits from the Companions (Sahaba) and the Followers' (Tabeen) interpretation, considering all the discovered scientific treasures of the Holy Qur'an throughout the ages as an extension to those views and a witness to the continuity of miracles of the Holy Qur'an, and on the sincerity of this Book, His Revealer , Almighty ..
