Benfit from the use of interest of usury and suspicious money in charity work
                           Dr.Abbas Ahmed Mohamed AL-Baz.
Professor Associate in the Division of Fiqh and Origins – Faculty of shari'ah –Jordan University
The established common idea in shari'ah is the gained money by unlawful means does not enter the possession of a Muslims . It should be given to poor people or given to a charitable project to realise public benefit or it should be contributed to islam and Muslims . Based upon this a shari'ah rule can be taken to the benefit of islam and Muslims . A rule can be completely understood in using suspicious gains such as money taken from bank interests by will and selection on competed to taken such as moneys given to Muslim families living in unMuslim countries where there are not Muslim banks and Muslims are competed to put their moneys in unislamic banks these monyes can be invested in charitable projects and public interest deeds as building schools and clinics for the benefit of needy and poor people .
It was clear that charity societies can receive such moneys and use them according to the following controls .
Firstly : You must be careful to collect and follow these moneys but only take them if they were offered to you then you have to contribute them by your own will .
Secondly : Money taken from interest should not be used in building mosques nor in printing the Holy Qur'an . But they can be used in other purposes of good acts as spend them on poor people and in helping poor students who do not find money to see doctors nor can by medicine or free education .
Thirdly : Charity societies should not pay the salaries of their employees from interest money . This money should be paid to needy and poor people and to charity projects .

Fourthly : Money coming from interest should be put in the bank in special account not included in other accounts of zakat and other monies which gathered from other sources .
