Rule of starting deeds that are not obligatory
Dr. Ayman A.Hameed A.Majeed Al-Baddarin.
Prof. Assistant in Fiqh and Usool Division – Shari'ah Faculty – (Khaleel) Heborn University – Palestine.
Al-Mandoob means a deed that  deserter is not punished. The question is: Does deed become obligatory and its deserter should be punished in case he starts performing it, then he left while he was performing this deed? He should do it again? Scholars of fiqh held different opinions concerning this issue. Shafi's and Hanbali's did not say it becomes obligatory in case of starting performing it. Other said it becomes obligatory. Hanifi's and Maliki's say  it becomes obligatory in some obligations. I introduced this issue and showed its importance and aim. I decided the place of dispute and reason of difference and conditions of making optional deeds obligatory – at starting them. I also showed opinions of scholars and their evidences I overweighed these evidences after discussing them and optional remains as it is without becoming obligatory after starting doing it.
