Auther : Dr. Laila Mohamed Ali Al-shehab

Judgment concerning intention to
 Perform prayers.
Dr. Laila Mohamed Ali Al-shehab
-Scientific Assistant in Comparative Fiqh and Shari'ah policy –
Faculty of Shari'ah and Islamic studies – Kuwait University
This research deals with intention topic and the most important cases related to prayers. As I showed the reality about intention, its place and conditions. I handled the obligation of intention and doubt of intention in prayers and it is done.
I shed light on numerous intentions in one prayer and sayings of scholars on this issue. I also handled issue of hesitation in intention and doubt of intention if happened and if it makes prayers invalid or not and deciding to stop intention without doing an action that nullifies prayers – will this nullify prayers?
I dealt also with intention issue and its effect on the prayer in a gathering as for leading the prayer and intention of following the Imam and the difference in intention between the Imam and his followers. These issues have details and branches open to several questions.
I dealt with them by exposition, analysis and discussion showing the overweighed opinion.
I beg Allah the greatest and most glorified for doing everything right.
