The Effect of the investigation laboratory Approach on the development of Scientific Thinking Skills of Jordanian Eleventh-Grade Science Students

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the Investigation Laboratory Approach on Scientific thinking skills of Jordanian eleventh-grade science students. The subjects used in this investigation were (468) eleventh-grade science students from six high schools. The subjects were (226) males and (242) females, and were randomly selected from a pool of classes in Shabib and Batrawi offices of Education in Zarqa district. The chronological age of the subjects ranged from (16-18) years. Subjects were randomly selected and classified as experimental group and control group. The learning and testing materials were protested before use.

The post-test was administered to the same groups of subjects under similar conditions to pretest. All learning and testing sessions were supervised by the investigators to ensure that no departure occurred from the conditions laid down for the experiment.
