The Impact of Academic Achievement and other Variables on Leadership Styles of School Principals at the Eastern province - Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

The purpose of this study is to investigate the kinds of relationship that between leadership styles of the Public School Principals and academic achievement and variables such as age, qualification, position, and experience.

The Leader Effectiveness and Adaptability Description (LEAD) developed by Hersey and Blanchard was administered to a randomly selected sample of 143 principals and deputies attended the training program conducted by the Teachers College of Al-Ahssa during the first semester of the academic year 1416/1417, and the first and the second semester of the year 1417/1418 H.

Study results showed that there were statistically significant differences at (.01) between school principals means regarding ``telling, and delegation leadership styles based on age.

In the light of the findings, some recommendations are drawn.
