The Effectiveness of the Use of Reciprocal Teaching Strategy in the Development of the Skills of Interpretation of the Quran and Divergent Thinking Among High School Students of Al-Azhar

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of the use of reciprocal teaching strategy in the development of the skills of interpretation of the Quran and divergent thinking of the first year of secondary education Azhari students. The study sample consisted of 36 students from the first grade one Azhari secondary education institutes in Minya students, were divided evenly into two groups; an experimental group and a control group. The study was applied in the first semester of the academic year 2014-2015. The experimental group studied topics assessed on the students in the subject of interpretation using reciprocal teaching strategy, while the control group studied the same subjects in the traditional manner. It also has been tested in the skills of design interpretation of the Quran are from (50) a question in the final form of multiple choice¡ designed to measure the skills of interpretation of the Quran at the first-grade secondary Azhari students. As the researcher developed a test to measure students possess the skills to be divergent thinking (24) questions. The results showed the existence of a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the post application to test the skills of interpretation of the Quran for the experimental group, as there is statistically significant difference at the level of (0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the application posttest to test divergent thinking posttest for the experimental group, and these results can be explained by the existence of the effectiveness of the use of reciprocal teaching strategy in the development of the skills of interpretation of the Quran and divergent thinking. The study concluded a set of recommendations and proposals in the light of the outcome of the results, including the need to train Arabic language teachers and forensic science stages of education different in general, and teachers legitimacy materials Azhar particular, students of teachers colleges of education on the use of reciprocal teaching strategy in teaching branches forensic science, and benefit from the development of divergent thinking skills among students of different educational stages.
