The Effective of counselling on reducing Insomnia for University Students

Some studies indicated that insomnia is one of the most common problems among students. Results of studies show that 13% of adolescents suffer from insomnia, 38% suffer from sleep disturbance, and 6% of students between 18 and 19 years old suffer from insomnia. Insomnia affects the students behavior and vitality.

The study explores the effectiveness of a counselling programme, based on behavioural and religious techniques, in reducing insomnia for university students. The sample of this study consists of (27) university students. These are divided into two groups; experimental and control. These two groups are also divided into two subgroups: (5) male students and (6) female students in experimental group, and (6) male students and (10) female students in control group.
