Auther : Dr.Bader O.Al-Omar & Dr. Mohamed D. Al-Daghaim

This study aimed to measure aspects of emotional stress and the personal, family, and academic resources of that stress. 572 students were selected from sixth, eighth, and tenth grades. Information on several demographic variables was collected. A structured model was built consisting of exogenous and endogenous variables. They were aligned in a way to express The predictive relationship among them. Path analysis was used to extract the most effective variables directly and/or indireclty predicting emotional stress. The comparative fit index (CFI) was .90 indicating an acceptable level of model fitness. Students interaction with teachers, academic stress, and students health were directly affecting emotional stress. In addition, the academic year indirectly affects emotional stress. Based on these results, a new model emerged consisting only from the effective variables.
