Practising corporal punishment in Kuwait intermediate Schools and teachers attitudes towards it

     The study explores the use of corporal punishment in schools, and teachers attitudes and beliefs regarding its effectiveness, side effects, and available alternatives. Descriptive statistics revealed a widespread of that practice in the intermediate school. Inferential statistics indicated significant differences as of gender for more indication on part of male teachers, and of experience indicating less use for more experienced. Kuwaiti teachers tend to believe and use corporal punishment more than their non-Kuwaiti counterparts.
     Discussion of results yields some recommendations, emphasizing training and orientation sessions for eradicating violent practices in schools.
