The Dialogic Narrative Approach & Its Implication in Teaching the Subject of Iraqi Invasion of Kuwait

Auther : Ali A. Al-Jafar

The researcher uses the term ``dialogic narrative to express a story that arises from another story through association and progression, in an on-going movement. However, the researcher has extended this term to include the concept of integration which strengthens the links among the various fields of knowledge, and the concept of ``interexuality which transforms the written text into an act interwined with other texts. In addition, the researcher benefits from variopus research techinques, particularly the quatitative approach, in teaching the subject of the Iraqi invasion of the State of Kuwait in August 1990.

The study tries to establish other dialogues by benefiting from the   stories od other nations that experienced circumstances similar to those witnessed by Kuwait. Through these stories, the students move, within their sbjects to the other. In doing so, they become part of this world, which in turn enables them to undertake a deeper treatment of their own subject.
