The Expected Roles of the Educational Supervisor Practices in the Educational Region of Asir in the Light of the Technological Innovations from the Teachers' Viewpoint and Their Relation to the Teachers' Attitudes towards Their Supervisors

Objectives: The study aims to identify the expected role of the special education supervisor in the Educational Region of Asir in the light of the technological innovations, and to know the level up to which supervisors do their expected roles from the viewpoint of special education teachers, as well as their attitudes towards special education supervision. The study also aimed to evaluate the link between special education supervision practices and teachers' attitudes towards their supervisors.
Method: The researcher conducted a descriptive approach, as a questionnaire was prepared in addition to an attitude scale (prepared by the researcher). This study was applied to a sample consisted of 36 male and 45 female teachers from the primary and the intermediate stages in the Educational Region of Asir.
Results: The results of the study indicated that there are high averages in the human relationships and the Professional growth dimensions in the level of Supervisory Practices. There is also a positive correlation between supervisory practices and special education teachers' attitudes towards their supervisors. According to the teacher variable, there are no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) in the educational supervision, and according to the stage (primary-intermediate) variable, there are no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) in the supervisory practices.
Conclusion: The researcher has reached a set of recommendations, the most important of which was the need to employ the technological innovations in developing the supervisory process in the field of special education.
