Designing an Electronic Game Inspired by Traditional Clothes to Develop the Aesthetic and National Sense of Children in Saudi Arabia.

Objectives: This study aimed at designing an electronic game inspired by traditional clothes to develop the aesthetic and national sense of the children in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Method: The study employed the descriptive analytical following the developmental applied research procedures. Using a questionnaire consisting of (3) dimensions to measure the opinions of the study sample (which was 15 experts in art education, designing, and psychology), data was collected regarding the suitability of the scientific and technical standards that need to be met in the design and production of the proposed electronic game, as well as the objectives suitability to the electronic game proposed design in the development of the child's aesthetic and national sense.
Results: The study reached the design of the electronic game according to (6) steps. The results of expert opinions showed that the degree of availability of the scientific and technical standards in the new design and production of the proposed electronic game came with high degree of compatibility. The results also showed that the proposed design of the electronic game inspired by traditional Saudi clothing, contributes to the development of child's aesthetic and national sense with a high degree.
Conclusion: The study result asserted the need of studying the national heritage as an inspiration source to enrich the field of design with contemporary artistic visions, besides the need to devote attention to the development of aesthetic and national sense of the children through various arts fields and relate it to the heritage aspects for the later various artistic aesthetic values.
