Foreign Commercial Privileges and Monopolies in the State of Kuwait and their Nationalization During the Period of (1935-1975 AD).

     The commercial privileges and monopolies given to some foreign entities such as the American and British companies in the State of Kuwait till 1975 had depleted resources of national wealth, caused delay in development, and disabled the existing human resources, the most notable of which were in the fields of transporting and unloading of goods delivered by steamships, Oil wealth, governmental tenders, and banks.
     In the light of the above mentioned points, this study aims at disclosing The size and quality of the foreign commercial privileges existing in the State of Kuwait between 1935-1975, and revealing the range of influence upon the social, economic and political situations in the State of Kuwait, as well as showing the main roles played by Kuwaiti citizens in the nationalization of these nationalize monopolies.
     For these reasons, this study preliminarily discussed the factors which created the foreign commercial privileges and monopolies in addition to the extent of awareness shown by members of the Kuwaiti Community towards fulfilling their duties and responsibilities. The study also discussed the nationalization of the foreign commercial privileges and monopolies during the same period. The conclusion of the study included the most important results that had been achieved.
