In Service Training for Nursery Teachers in State of Kuwait: the Status Quo and Ways of Development from Teachers Perspective to Meet their Needs.

This study aimed at determining the training needs in educational skills fields service for nursery schools in State of Kuwait from teachers' point of view. The study will also assess the difference between their needs in different educational zones, education, experience and getting training program. Simple random sample 559 has been chosen in nursery schools in all Kuwait educational zones and 361 questionnaires have been returned. In order to achieve the study goals, the researcher has designed questionnaire consisted of 38 phrases. It was found that the teachers' training needs are high in all fields of the questionnaire. Class management was the second important field followed by communication- innovation- evaluation- planning and finally professional growth. The study stressed that there are statistical differences in educational zone variable and for Al-Asma educational zone in class management field as well as statistical differences in education variable for bachelor of basic education in planning and innovation, and for bachelor of evaluation. In addition, there are statistical differences in experience variable in all fields for more than 10 years. The study also found that there are no statistical differences in getting training programs.
