The Degree of Employment of Education for Citizenship Concepts in the Schools of Sultanate of Oman from the Perspective of the University of Nizwa Students .

     This study aimed at investigating the effect of gender, major, studying level and accumulative average, upon the means of education for citizenship from the university of Nizwa student's perspective. The sample of the study consisted of (452) students. They were chosen randomly using the available sample method. All students in the target sample answered the questionnaire of education for citizenship which consisted of (39) items.
     The results of the study showed that the degree of education for citizenship in the schools of Sultanate of Oman is high at the level (4.21), also, the results revealed the main signs of the educatin for citizenship through the following items: (keeping on the Omani cultural and social values; Acquiring of the honesty and validity traits; developing the social and relationship skills). The statistical results showed that there were significant effects for gender, in the means of education for citizen in favor of female's students, and there is a significant effect for the student’s major and studying level variables parallel in favor of arts majors and third studying level for the school and curriculum factors. Finally, the results did not show significant statistical differences related to the effect of other variables.
