The Extent of Knowledge of Primary School Teachers About Learning Disabilities.

     The purpose of this study was to investigate the extent of knowledge of primary school teachers about learning disabilities, and to find out the impact on primary school teachers knowledge about learning disabilities of some demographic variables; such as gender, qualification, and years of experience The participants of the study were (117) male and female teacher’s. The data was analyzed statistically by the arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-Way ANOVA, and Scheffe test. The results revealed that participants of the study possess knowledge about learning disabilities to a high degree. In addition, there were statistical significant differences due to qualification variable in favor of a bachelor degree or more, and there were statistical significant differences due to the years of experience variable in favor of (11-15) years, and (16) years or more. And there were no statistical significant differences due to gender.
