The Aesthetic of Poetic Transformation: Study of Khalifa AL-Wgian Poetic Experience

Auther : Dr. Muhana B. AL-Rashid

The language of poetry is a symbolic, changeable with multiple meaning. The Language can be expanded to vast and varied of meaning that goes beyond the word direct meaning. Its symbolism is a literary trend that benefits from the power of inspiration of symbol, and its features to create something unfamiliar with the sings and drifts to a new horizon that reflects the imaginary of the creator. It gives the recipient new concepts to create vast and varied space of semantics by symbols that may appear familiar and normal for the first time due to its legendary, religious and historical references.
In art, it is not acceptable for two poets to produce two identical creative experiences. Even one poet shouldn't repeat himself in two different situations. That's because every creative text reflects an aesthetic or intellectual situation completely different from another text, even if there is some kind of similarity between the two. As a result, the change of meaning connotation became necessary and worth-study in order to interpret the connotation of symbols and to think of their deep meaning. Therefore, the phenomenon of "The aesthetic of symbolic connotation" deserved to be discussed on the level of semantics and the further meanings, especially in the poetry of the distinguished poet like Khalifah AL-Waqayyan.
