Application of Knowledge Management Processes in Administrative Organizations from the Perspectives of Employees: (Empirical Study on Jeddah's Administrative Organizations)

     The study aimes to identify the extent of application of knowledge management (KM) processes in the administrative services organizations in Jeddah, and also to examine the relationship between the application of KM and some functional and personal characteristics of employees. The study included a random sample of administrative employees (286) from six administrative service organizations. Data were collected and analyzed using SPSS program in order to obtain means, standard deviations and percentages. Also, Chi-square, One Way ANOVA and F-test were used to see if there was any significante effect of independent variables (age, level of education, training programs, and work experiences). The study findings revealed that the processes of KM are not being fully implemented. The results also revealed a positive correlation between the application of KM processes and functional and personal characteristics of employees. The study provided a number of recommendations to help employees and their organizations to implement and improve the KM processes.
