Teaching Skills of the Teachers of Quran at the Primary Level in the State of Kuwait

     This study aimed to determine the caliber of the teachers teaching the Quran at the primary level.  The study identifies a list of the required qualifications for the successful teaching of the Holy Quran.  Based on the qualifications list, a questionnaire was designed to evaluate the extent to which the teachers conform to the qualification and skills adequacy.  The study has adopted the descriptive analytical approach which was based on data collection from the field and statistical analysis.  The sample of the study was the Islamic education teachers in primary schools in the state of Kuwait, and was drawn randomly from all six school districts in Kuwait, at a rate of ten primary schools in each educational zone, five schools for boys and five schools for girls, with 60 schools in total.  The study revealed that teachers in general have accepted the ten areas of teaching skills and confirmed that teachers of Holy Quran embrace such skills.
