The Relationship Between Attitudes Towards Work Ethics and Selective Variables in the Public Sector in Kuwait

     The main purpose of this study is to investigate the nature of the role played by a selected group of demographic (age, gender, and salary), organizational and external variables in determining employees> attitudes towards work ethics in the public sector in Kuwait.

Results of this study have led to the following conclusion:

1     -     There is a clear interactive relation between employees age, gender, level of salary and attitudes towards work ethics.

2     -     Women show strong and conservative attitudes toward work ethics.

3     -     Older employees and those who gain a higher salary show also strong and conservative attitudes towards work ethics.

4     -     Colleagues and organizations way of dealing with the employee played a major role in his attitudes towards work ethics.
