         The prime objective of this study is to define the morals to be agreed upon by all people involved in the different areas and levels of the teaching profession.

         The initial study of the research adopted the questionnaire as a tool to identify the points of view of the specimen members who totaled 367 persons of the staff of Education Faculties teachers, Educational Administrations Directors, Technical Inspectors, principals and teachers at the schools of the Ministry of Education.  The questionnaire included five categories concerning the profession moralities of the teachers’ responsibilities regarding their profession, student, parents, colleagues, environment and society.

         The said questionnaire was eventually designed after passing various phases of data gathering, classification, drafting, ordering, testing and amendment in the light of experts’ views.

         The findings resulted in dropping seven items and approving the remaining sixty that cover the foregoing five categories.  The contents of the five categories involved in the questionnaire are summed up as follows:

 1. Moralities concerning the teachers’ responsibilities towards his profession and whether he abides by all religious doctrines and feels proud of his profession qualifies himself vocationally, realizes the importance of educational research, accommodate his conduct to the values of his society, feels proud of his Arabic tongue, bears the responsibility and dedicate his time for his profession.

 2. Moralities concerning the teachers’ responsibilities towards his students.  These include the manner he deals with his students to achieve an integral psychological growth through self-respect.  He should encourage them to respect each other, set an example to his students, be fair in treating them, create situations which allow them to take part in discussions and constructive criticism and develop their levels of ambition.  Moreover, he should do his best to apply the proper teaching techniques to encourage the students to respond positively, observe all individual differences, stimulate them to use Arabic in a proper manner and practice scientific thinking and elevate their aesthetic taste.  He should support the students’ values and attitudes towards faith in Islamic and Arabic principles, believe in the principle of solidarity and public opinion, regard of individuals’ freedom and personality, performing their duties, honoring innovators and investors, preserving public property and trying to develop the society.

 3. Moralities concerning the teachers’ responsibilities towards the students’ parents.  A teacher should be well aware of the national tradition, become acquainted with contemporary culture and participate in educating and developing the society.

 4. Moralities concerning the teachers’ responsibilities towards his colleagues.  A teacher should deal with them according to the doctrines of Islam, do his best to bring harmony amongst them, share the responsibility of controlling the school, cooperate with his colleagues to achieve integration in the educational process, be positive, of good faith, open-minded.  He should also accept criticism, offer help and adhere to the resolutions agreed upon by the educational staff within the general policy of the school.

 5. Moralities concerning the teachers’ responsibilities towards the society, which involve respecting and honoring the students’ parents, consulting with them in all aspects concerning their children, disclosing no information of the students of their families and participating in the Parents’ Councils.

       Finally, this research recommends emphasizing the significant role played by the faculties concerned with qualifying the teachers through consolidating the professional moralities of teachers, and urges the educational administration to apply them in evaluating the teachers.  Moreover, the educational media should attend to these moralities and the professional societies and unions of teachers should adopt them.  In addition, it is the responsibility of the concerned authorities to support the social and economic status of teachers to enable them to adhere to their professional moralities in every aspect.
