•    While being sent and reviewed by Journal of the Gulf and Arabian Peninsula Studies(JGAPS), authors should acknowledge that the submitted manuscript has not been published previously and are not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere, and that the database, in full or part, have not been previously published.
•    Authors should disclose any potential sources of conflict of interest related to their manuscript (e.g. relationship or financial) that might be perceived as influencing their objectivity. Readers have the right to be informed about who has funded research and the role of the funders in the research, if any.
•    All studies that involve human participants or animal subjects must adhere to the Ethical Principles of the American Psychological Association . Authors are encouraged to approve their projects by an appropriate body (e.g. research ethics committee, institutional review board) and obtain written informed consent from participants.
•    Authors are encouraged to consider what components of their materials and data can be made publicly available on a third-party repository. If data or scripts used to generate the analyses are available via a publicly available data repository, please include link to their location inside the manuscript.
•    Authors information (name, email, affiliation, and other contact details) are usedfor reviewal and publishing purposes only.
•    All authors should have substantial contributions to the submitted manuscript.  They should approve the final version of their manuscript before publication.
•    Authors may use Acknowledgments section to recognize contributions from peoplewho do not meet the criteria for authorship, such as funding, technical help, collection of data, etc.
•    The journal may use iThenticate’s CrossCheck software to check for instances similarity text in submitted manuscripts.
•    Violation of scientific searchethics misconduct includes fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism in performing or reporting research results.If misconduct is suspected, the journal will act in accordance with the published relevant policies outlined by the Academic Publication Council.
•    Any published data the journal found inaccurate or misleading, will be corrected promptly.The authors are expected to cooperate with the editors to provide such corrections.
If an item proved to pose violation to the publishing policies, it will be retractedand attributes legal consequences on its author.
