Journal of the Gulf and Arabian Peninsula Studies (JGAPS) isa multidisciplinary research journal publishes high quality original articlesin topics related to the Gulf and Arabian Peninsula (namely: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Republic of Yamen), both in Arabic and English. The scope of the journal covers a wide range of topics, in all disciplines of social sciences and the humanities (e.g. political science, sociology, anthropology, psychology, geography, education, administration, cultural studies, Arabic literature, linguistics, media studies, and history). The published works includes empirical, theoretical, methodological, as well as review papers (including meta-analyses) which appeal to the general reader as well as the specialist. Brief reports are not accepted. The JGAPS regards itself as international in vision and therefore welcomes submissions from researchersfrom all countries, thou at the same time, seeks to boost and establish cultural and scientific research and publishing among Gulf and Arab Peninsula citizens.
