This is a magnificent copy from Abu-Tammam anthology - (he lived in the fall of the second and early third Hijri centuries) embracing approximately one-third of his poetry. It is narrated by Abi Ali al-Qali. Its significance lies in beholding ninety eight poems, documented from Abu-Tammam handwriting.
This copy is the origin of the Andalusia narration of Abi-Tammam anthology whose copies were rife in Andalusia and then in North Africa. It is duplicated from the book of Sheikh Abi al-Qasim Ibrahim Bin Mohammad Bin Zakariyah known by Ibn al-Iflili written in his handwriting. He copied it from the books brought by Abu Ali Ismael Bin al-Qasim al-Baghdadi who mentioned it is by the handwriting of Abi-Tammam Habeeb Bin Aws al-Taii. I verified it relying on an image of its origin at the library of al-Escorial Covent in Madrid beside two other images of copies : the copy of al-Husniyah Library at Rabat, the other at Cairo University Library , introducing it with some important critic issues.
