Deconstructive Features of Culture Criticism (in Arabic).

Auther : Nizar Alseoudi

Cultural criticism has been exposed to a variety of critical approaches, one of which is deconstructionist criticism. The researcher noticed that the scholars and critics of this approach played an important role in theorizing cultural studies in general, as well as cultural criticism in particular. Therefore, this study aims to discover the deconstructive features that are of interest to cultural criticism. The researcher reached several results in relation to these features, namely: openness to history, broadening the readers’ horizons, concentrating on the context, utilizing the concept of doubt as a starting point for interpretation, and focusing on the study of meanings, specifically the structure, as well as the clash of meanings. Additionally, the researcher writes about the presence of intertextuality and the transformation of the marginal into the central.
Keywords: Deconstruction, cultural criticism, structure, intertextuality.
