Wolfdietrich Fischer and the Emergence of Arabic Syntax (in Arabic).

Auther : Yousuf al-Jawarnah

This research aims at the following:
First: Exploring German orientalist, Wolfdietrich Fischer's stance on the influence other grammars (Greek, and Syriac) had on Arabic syntax in the early stages of its emergence before Sibawayh. This part demonstrates the arguments Fischer considered and invalidates them. Fisher was drawing information from other Orientalists, therefore, his argument on the subject was devoid of true awareness on the history of the stage.
Second: Illustrating the academic value of Al-Khawarizmi's book, The Keys to Science, which Fischer used to prove the influence theory on which he built his research, and clarifying that the book does not provide a clear-cut historicization of syntax and its development.
Third: Repealing the separation between Sibawayh and his mentor, Al-Khalil within the history of syntax, and that Al-Khalil embodies the end of this supposed influence stage while Sibawayh represents the beginning of an Arab stage in which Arabic syntax was established purely, and not influenced by anything.
