From the Falseness of Identity to the Reiteration of Difference (in Arabic)

Auther : Farida Guioua

The concept has been subjected, during a very long period in the history of philosophy, to "centralization" as a constituent of identity. This concept of "identity" gives to the postmodernist philosophers a distorted image of facts and extreme selfishness that make them centre the world in their egos and imprison it in their emotional perspectives. In this way, they jailed it in "identity" and "correspondence", and, therefore, talking about precise ideas became some kind of scientific illusion which required "shock" and "shaking" to use postmodernist terms.
This essay deals with the issue of "identity" and the resulting falsification of facts. It reveals its instability and falsehood, in an indefinite end of conceptual fragments related to truth, and its openness to "difference" which shows disruptions and conceptual particles gathering each time. All these shaped a whole that was imprisoned by past philosophers in the "identity" framework. This led the philosopher of difference Jules de Lose to bypass the requirements of correspondence and identity, not to trust the veracity of the concept and to go back to foundations that are borrowed from postmodernist philosophical spaces. The latter allow for openness to controversial "adverse concepts" as it uncovers the reiteration of "difference", which implies delving into a new philosophical field that shows the internal cracks and collapses undergone by the concept ever since Plato.
Since the communicative and revolutionary forms are the essence of postmodernist philosophy, what is required is a deconstructive methodology that should be annexed to "identity" and substituted by the domination of "movement and change". This entails uncovering the inhibited "difference" within the conceptual product which, in turn, reveals various manifestations of the phenomenon that is rooted in a closed network which constantly needs to be "set apart".
