Formation of the figures of speech in the poetry of Muhammad Al-Fayiz (in Arabic)

This research Paper presents a critical induction that examines the forms of the figures of speech of the Kuwaiti poet Muhammad Al Fayiz whose poetic works are characterized by a collaboration of the traditional and the modern types. This qualifies it as expressive example of the modern poetic experience in Kuwait in its two ways. This study attempts to identify the role of the figures of speech in building his vision of the workd. This is based on two basic axes: humanizing the universe and the unity of the universe existence. This vision is also concerned with identification of the explanatory types that Al Fayiz uses to condense the images of the figures of speech and expanding their horizons. It analyses froms of multiple similes, the gathering of similes, making a simile between two images and the concept of the whole image in his poetry. This research paper also explores the structure of the complicated image and the nature of relationships that control its components. It shows the composing forms of the similes and the metaphors that are mentioned in his poetry. It attempts to identify their rhetorical effect.
