Kuwait University Post-Graduate Programme: A Preliminary Study of the Faculty's Viewpoints (in Arabic)

This study is designed to investigate the opinions of Kuwait University Faculty about the Universitys post-graduate programme. The study focuses on the current strategies and policies. It also focuses on the difficulties that the programme faces and its future outlook.
The data collected is based on a 27-item questionnaire where respondents express their opinion on six areas related to the topic under investigation. These are post-graduate strategies, programme organization, majors, faculty speciality, and resources.
The study sample, which includes 248 respondents, is selected from the humanities and science colleges. The sample covers different majors and positions including Head of departments, Deans, Assistant Deans and faculty members.
The analysis of the study data shows some points of strength and weakness in the post-graduate programme. The study findings emphasize the importance of making resources and facilities available for the post-graduate programme.
On the basis of the literature review and the field study findings, a new framework for the post-graduate programme of Kuwait University is suggested.
