The Unknown God (in Arabic)
Auther : Hamad Mohammad Bin Saray
During his visit to Athens, Saint Paul found a Greek inscription dedicated to an unknown god. This inscription has been studied and analysed by several European scholars since the beginning of this century.
Pagan classical and Christian sources refer to the.worship of unknown Gods which did not have images. Palmyrene and Sabaic inscriptions also refer to an unknown god by its characteristics, yet it did not have an image.
This study supposes that the unknown God may mean Allah, and it makes a comparison between classical and Christian sources, and Palmyrene and Sabaic inscriptions.
