Patterns of The Phonological Uniqueness in the Holy Quran (in Arabic)

Auther : Mohamed AI-Abd

The aim behind this research is to shed lights on one of the main points in the language of the Holy Quran which is (Phonological Uniqueness) that is apparent in this paper in the form of the following points:

1.Sound Acceptability due to which persons are able to keep the Suras by heart and then beautifully read them. This is because of the clearliness of the Quran as regards Sounds.

2.Onomatopoeia of sound and meaning which is also genuine, not traditional. This paper also focuses on contextual similarities which are great in telling us about the richness of language formations very special of the Holy Quran, .e.g. phonemes: S, S1 G1 K, C, R, M. In this paper I showed the relation or coherence among these phonemes with their common connotations.

3.Patterns of Quranic music and their stylistic values. There seems to be a relation between shifts of music, meaning and also context.

4.The Marvelousness in sound spaces - Fawasil arid their patterns as regards quantity and quality with a study of the most recurrent phonemes that can do with Fawasil and how they influence music or rhythm - and hence word and sentence structure. There is a role Fawasil play in the directing of rhythm as a step by step gradation towards the end of the Sura.
