ARAB JOURNAL FOR THE HUMANITIES invites submission of articles (up to 7,000 words including footnotes, appendices, and bibliography) relevant to the broad spectrum of humanities such as, theoretical and applied linguistics, literature and comparative literature, philosophy, social sciences related to the humanities, history, communication, folkloric studies, arts and fine arts (painting, drawing, sculpture, theatre, music, etc.), and archeology.
Manuscript and footnotes should be double-spaced throughout and submitted in triplicate, together with an abstract (up to 350 words), footnotes should conform to the MLA Handbook for Writers of Research papers or The MLA Style Manual. Authors are requested to send the complete manuscript on an IBM compatible disk, along with the type of computer and software used. The Arab Journal for the Humanities uses Windows 98 for word processing and Excel programs. Procedures for reviewing manuscript are based on the anonymity of the author and confidentiality of reader’s reports. Editorial policy does not provide for transmitting reader’s evaluation to authors of rejected manuscripts.
The Journal does not accept manuscripts that have already been published, are scheduled for publication elsewhere, or have been simultaneously submitted to another journal. The editors reserve the right to amend phrasing and punctuation in articles accepted for publication.
