The impact of Knowledge Management Operations Practices on Technical and Managerial Innovation: an Empirical Investigation in Healthcare Institutions in Ma'an City

This study aims to know the impact of knowledge management operations practices on technical and managerial innovation. To achieve this aim a specific questionnaire was developed based on the contemporary literature in the subject itself. 161 questionnaires were circulated to 161 GPs working in health care sector in Ma'an City. We retrieve back 119 fully completed questionnaire, which is formed about 74% response rate and is considered a high percentage for this type of study. The research results revealed the following: There is a significant statistical impact of knowledge management practices both knowledge documentation and application on technical innovation. In addition, there is a significant statistical impact of knowledge application practice on managerial innovation. Finally, there is a significant statistical impact of managerial innovation on technical innovation. Based on the research results a set of practical recommendations were offered.
