The Effect of Administrative Empowerment on Enhancing Organizational Creativity: A Field Study of Personnels Attitudes of Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority in Jordan

This study aims at identifying the attitudes of the personnel (i.e engineers, technicians, and administrators) in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority regarding the impact of administrative empowerment on enhancing organizational creativity. To achieve this objective, a questionnaire was developed and distributed to a sample of (385) respondent. The results showed a significant statistical effect of administrative empowerment on organizational creativity. The study makes two recommendations: 1- there should be systematic support for creative individuals through developing their initiatives, and (2) there should be encouragement of employees to accept empowerment strategy that leads successfully to organizational goals achievement based on team-work and best utilization of human resources.
