Evaluation the Organizational Climate and Organizational Commitment in Jordanian Telecommunication Company

This research aimed to identify organizational climate and organizational commitment, and the nature of the relationship between them in Jordanian telecommunications company. It also aimed to study the effects of demographic characteristics on adopting organizational commitment and organizational climate. A random sample of (280) cases of the whole research population of (2850) employees was selected. The research concluded that the employees' attitude toward organizational climate was moderate (2.62), while that of organizational commitment was relatively high (3.53). The results also showed that organizational climate explained 14.5% of the changes therein. The correlation co-efficient revealed a positive relationship between organizational climate and organizational commitment. There are no significant differences among the employees' attitudes toward adopting organizational commitment and organizational climate that can be attributed to age, qualification and experience. The study recommends that certain essential improvements should be made so as to avoid the negative aspects.
