Assessing Jordanians’ Willingness to Buy: A Consumer’s Point of View

The economic factor alone could not be used to explain consumers’ willingness to buy. Using a quantitative approach, this research examined other issues, besides income, that could participate in affecting the overall willingness of Jordanians to buy products and services. The findings have indicated the importance of income to Jordanians, and also emphasized the importance of other issues (e.g. attitudes towards a product, family size, etc.) in explaining Jordanians’ willingness to buy. This study is considered of importance, as it was carried out in Jordan where this type of study is almost non. Many conclusions and recommendations are reached.
