Manager’s Equity Sensitivity and Its Relationship with Job Outcomes Relative Importance: The Case of Kuwait

Adams Equity Theory has been facing many challenges because of its negligence of psychological differences among individuals regarding their perceptions and reactions to inequity. The theory assumes that all individuals react in the same manner when they face inequity. Husemane Equity Sensitivity Construct represents an attempts to overcome this deficiency. The present study represents an effort in this direction. A random sample consists of 240 Kuwaiti managers was selected from Kuwait University to test their sensitivities to equity, and the relationship between those sensitivities and outcomes importance. The results support the propositions of these relationships. Some future researches were proposed to improve construct utilization in theory and practices.
