Alfanqalah Positions and Formulas in Arabic Grammar

     Al-fanqalah is a term derived from the linguistic structure, (If you say, I would say) in addition to other formats. we spotted in the study thirty five formations for thirty one grammarians. Al-fanqalah was chosen to be our study focus because it was a chosen approach for justifying viewpoints in a specific era in the golden age in Arabic history during the argument between different grammar schools, yet we have not seen any studies dealing with this approach in details: that's why this study may be authentic in grammarian and morphological studies.
The study includes the positions of Al-fanqalah and its different formats in two different researches: The first in grammar and the second in morphology. In the first research, the study of Al-fanqalah and its connotations was covered in seven volumes, where the grammatical points related to Al-fanqalah according to (Sebaoua) index of parts of speech starting with noun, verb and letters. Then in each part we discussed  the formats of Al-fanqalah and its connotations. After that we ordered the following parts: first (Al marfoa'at), (Al majroorats) and styles, whereas in the second research, we covered the order according to morphology then verbs' types, formations, and minimizing forms.
   The most remarkable outcomes are: pointing out (Al-fanqalah) in thirty five formats varied from the first pronoun, the addressed and the unknown in two different results either assumptions, which means that the question raised by the grammarian has not been asked before, or the grammarian asked a real existing question.

Recidivism of Juvenile Delinquents in the Jordanian Society

   The study aims to recognize the determinants of the return of the delinquent juveniles in the Jordanian society to deviation. The study was applied to an intentional sample of sixty-seven male juveniles from homes of education and rehabilitation in the cities of Amman, Irbid and Rosaifah. The results reveal that the reasons of the return to deviation may include: bad company, idleness, hanging out in streets, truancy, the use of tough measures by parents in their transactions with juveniles and the absence of the guardian from home. The homes of education and rehabilitation in Jordan have played a significant role in limiting the return to deviation through what they produce of vocational, educational, religious, controlling, cultural, sport, recreational and health programs for the juveniles. The pressures of the social stigma also played a great role in the return of the delinquent juvenile to deviation; this is due to the following: going along with bad company, spending free time uselessly, the treatment of the family as an unrespected or invaluable person, naming him as a deviated person by others, and the general look of the community as an unwanted person. Eventually, the result reveals that there aren’t any differences of statistical signs between the return to deviation and all other variables mentioned in this study, except the variable of the delinquent juvenile’s guardian.

From Taqmeesh and Tafteesh to Computing and Digitizing: Towards an Arabic, Scientific Citation Database

This study focuses on the subject of "scientific citation" taken from research sources, which are an essential step in scientific research and documentation. Researchers and writers depend on quotes in the formative stages of writing a research or a book. The organization, circulation, employment, absorption, placement, and inclusion of citations in the research are fundamental to the quality and relevance of scientific and academic research.
The study attempts to further approach citation to understand its nature and importance to the researcher in addition to the difficulties encountered in the compilation, circulation, and usage of quotations, in addition to the scientific and practical methods employed in the notation of quotations, and guidance and recommendations related to the usage of quotations. The study tries to solicit the significance of citation to the Arab researcher and the importance of the stage of compiling scientific material and recording it in order to assess the need for an information system for its conservation and management in the present and future. To achieve these objectives, the study applies an analytical descriptive approach, using the method of systems analysis in order to reach a proposed design for Arab scientific citations database with a user guide.

Kuwait University Surdents’ Perspectives and Attitudes Toward Some Current Social and Political Challenges

This study examines Kuwait University students’ opinions and attitudes toward societal and developmental challenges faced by contemporary Kuwaiti society. The study used an analytical descriptive approach, including the researchers’ design of a questionnaire, which was composed of 21 items in 6 major dimensions: women, citizenship, national unity, education, development, expariates and the stateless. After examining the validity and reliability of the questionnaire, it was applied to a sample of 1006 Kuwait University students in different scientific colleges. The study revealed a number of outcomes:
1 - Women’s political experience lacked value, and only 33% valued their political experience.
 2- (61.3%) of students thought that national unity is at risk and experiencing great challenges.
3 - A majority (72.9%) believed that education faces a real crisis, and it is one of the major political challenges. Notably, 82% thought that it needs holistic reform.
4 - A total of 67.8% thought that expariates pose a threat to the country, and 61.5% thought that the stateless also pose societal and political threats.
5 - The most influential variable was the years of university study in five dimensions, which favoured the first and second years of study, during which students were less strict and more open. By contrast, gender, college, and political affiliation influenced four dimensions and mostly favoured females, the college of Sharia and Islamic Studies, and those who have no political affiliation. There were also no significant differences in major and political orientation.
6 - The study results support several recommendations that are related to the importance of solving different problems and challenges that face Kuwaiti society and encourage youth and university students to participate in political and societal issues, which could serve the developmental objectives of the society and the country.

Critical and Analytical Corrections of Edited Part One of Al-Jazari’s Book “Hawadith az-Zaman”

This research is a critical study of Ibn Al Jazari’s, died in 739H., “Hawadth az-Zaman wa Anbihi wa Waffiyat al Ayan wal Akaber min Abnaihi” edited and published in three volumes by Dr. Omar Al Tadmuri in Beirut in 1998.
The correct choice of methodology was observed by referring to previous efforts exerted by different researchers working on Al Jazari’s book  and manuscripts, bearing in mind the parts approved by researchers prior to Al-Tadmuri's edited edition. In tandem with the research methodology, the researcher had to refer to Al Jazari’s known manuscripts, to correct errors in the light of the original.
This research aims to revise inaccurate information marked in Al Jazari’s edited first volume containing events and obituaries that occurred between 689-699 (AH). 
Accuracy of research was strictly observed by comparing Al Tadmuri’s edited version to the Paris manuscript number AR6739, acknowledged by Al Tadmuri, which lacked several texts and news.  The researcher also compares Al Tadmuri’s manuscript with other manuscripts not observed by Al-Tadmuri, such as Gotha's manuscript Nr. 1559, 1560, 1561, the manuscript of  Istanbul Nr. 1147 Almukhtar min tarikh Ibn Al Jazari by the historian Al Dhahabi (extracts from the history of Ibn Al Jazari). Furthermore, the researcher conducted a comparison between a number of resources that have been used by Al Tadmuri in his edition.
The main aim of this work is to produce a flawless version of Al Jazari’s text.
